R. Neville Johnston, a Near-Death Experiencer, was shot during a mugging in 1977 when he and his actress companion were leaving the theatre where they were thespians.

In the NDE that followed, Neville learned about the patterns in our lives that are held in place by hatred, and the impact of forgiveness and language in our lives.

He returned to help others understand that what you say is what you become and are.

Peter Woodbury, a popular Cayce teacher, is in private practice as a psychotherapist here in Virginia Beach, with a focus on the use of spirituality and faith as tools for personal transformation and liberation.

Peter has studied the Edgar Cayce readings for over thirty years, and is currently writing his first book.

He is Coordinator at the Association for Research and Enlightenment. He is also a leader of international spiritual tour groups, for which he is especially suited. As a child, he and his family would often go camping on the Giza plateau.

Sharon Solomon, the widow of our founder, Paul Solomon, speaking on "You Raise Me Up!"

Sharon will speak about the uniqueness of the Virginia Beach Fellowship Center, tell some stories about Paul Solomon and the early days of the Fellowship of the Inner Light, and share some of her thoughts about how together we can continue the work of the Fellowship in the future.

Sharon will also offer a workshop in the afternoon: "The Fellowship of the Inner Light in the Planetary Mystery School." A love donation will be accepted for the workshop.

Fellowship actors and musicians present "Godspell" (an archaic spelling of the word "gospel"), a musical by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak.

Godspell was first performed off Broadway on May 17, 1971.

Dale Allen Hoffman is an "eternal student of the Aramaic teachings of Yeshua (Jesus) and a fifteen-year teacher of spiritual insights from the ancient Aramaic language and culture. Fellowship of the Inner Light Lending Library

Fellowship of the Inner Light is hosting a lending library to assist persons on a spiritual search. Books, DVDs, and Tapes may be borrowed without cost. The library includes VHS and DVD copies of worship services, VHS tapes of some speakers from Virginia Beach Friends of IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies, and books, many of which contain concepts of New Spirituality. Many of the books and tapes are on loan from the Virginia Beach Friends of IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies), and are so noted below.

Below is a listing of books, tapes, and DVDs located in the bookcase in the Upper Room. These are arranged in alphabetical order by last name of author. VHS tapes and DVDs of Joy in Worship Services, and some VHS tapes of VBIANDS speakers are located downstairs near the recording desk at the back of the sanctuary, and are catalogued there. Those are arranged chronologically by date.

You can look over items in the Library before or after the Joy in Worship Service on Sundays. To access the Library during the week call the church in advance at (757) 428-5782. Please sign out all items with your name, date borrowing, and phone number. When you return an item, please write the date returned.
